The Gold Star has long been recognized as identifying a family that has lost someone who was on active duty.  We are honored and proud to be able to offer these outstandingly beautiful Gold Star magnets.  Please do not confuse these with the cheap printed magnets that we are all use to seeing.  These are laser engraved on a special magnet that actually has a glittering, textured, gold colored layer sandwiched between the rubber magnetic back and a midnight black front.  The engraving process removes the black front layer resulting in a beautiful gold engraving. 

One of the unique benefits of this unusual process is that we have the ability to engrave photographs onto the magnet at a very reasonable price in addition to up to four lines of text.  We suggest that you limit the number of characters in each line to a maximum of 30, including spaces and punctuation.  We will try our best to squeeze in more characters but please be advised that we will be forced to go smaller fonts or narrower fonts and the results will be different than seen here. 

On all orders, we send a proof for your approval before actually engraving the magnet so that you have a chance to see how it is going to look, catch misspellings, and approve how we cropped the photo.  You can make changes at no additional charge.  We don’t believe in making you accept a customized product before seeing a proof of it first!

We also offer these products without the Gold Star or Battle Cross for those who want them for someone who is currently serving or just don’t want the Gold Star for some other reason. Just put a note in the Order Comment box on the checkout page that you don’t want the Gold Star or Battle Cross included.
