Although Memorial Day is a chance to enjoy time with family and friends, celebrate the beginning of summer, and enjoy grilling in the backyard or park, it is also the day that we remember all those that have sacrificed their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we have. I know that my customers and friends will take the time this weekend to thank those that have laid down their lives for us.
I would also like to ask a favor of you. One of my Patriot Guard Rider friends reminded me that almost all of the WWII veterans have passed away. It is a long time until Veterans Day (November 11) so if you see a WWII vet this weekend, please be sure to thank them for their service to our country while you still have the chance. Of course, it is a good time to thank all of our vets -- but please go out of your way to thank the WWII vets.
